Starting new translations for an existing content

Your content has been edited an you would like to translate it in one or more languages. Here is how to proceed.
  1. Navigate to the URL of an existing content for which you'd like to create new translation.
    Example:
    http://www.website.com/en/example
    http://www.website.com/?p=en/example

  2. Click on the new translation link in the content actions area.

  3. The new translation screen appears.
    1. Check the language(s) in which you would like to create translations for the content
    2. Choose a name for each translation
    3. Submit

  4. Look at the translations list (at bottom right of the content view): your content is now available in new languages! Click on one translation to view it.
    These translations are currently untranslated.
    Note: Translations with low translated percentage appear through-lined. They are not visible for people who don't have edit/translate permission.

Starting massive new translations per language

You may want to create new translations in a specific language for a huge amount of contents at once.
Example: You may want to translate your website in a new language
  1. Click on the manage link in the global actions area.

  2. Click on the Create multiple translations at once link.

  3. The multiple translations creation screen appears.
    1. Choose a language for creating new translations
    2. All contents which are not currently available in the selected language are listed. Select the contents for which you would like to create translations
    3. Choose a name for each translation
    4. Submit
