User guide: Simultaneous collaborative edition and translation

Understanding edition and translation locks

Thanks to smart locks, editors and translators can work synchronous on the same contents:
  • Several translators can work simultaneously on the same content in different languages
  • Editors can edit contents while translators are translating it. Translations won't be lost, even if the content was edited while they were translating it.
To prevent conflicts:
  • Translators can't translate the same content in the same language on the same time.
  • Editors can't edit the same content from any languages on the same time.

Example

The following example explains how editors and translators can work on the same time on the same contents:
/en/example /fr/example /de/example
